Exhibition: ‘Revealed’ at Leeds College of Art

Last month I went to the Leeds College of Art graduate exhibition ‘Revealed’.
My dear friend Emma Lucy Watson has graduated this year from the Visual
Communication course.

This is Emma with her beautiful work, she hand made the unicorn head and
styled the display. Emma is a fashion stylist and visual merchandiser currently
based in Yorkshire.

Here is a close up of the unicorn, if you would like to see more of Emma’s work
check out her tumblr here: http://emmalucywatson.tumblr.com/

REVEALED

End of Year Show 2012

16th – 21st June

Each Summer Leeds College of Art transforms into a gallery
and opens its doors to the public to share the amazing and
inspiring work that our talented students create. You’ll be
able to view a broad range of creative work from graphic
design,  furniture, jewellery, print, painting, sculpture,
animation, film, textiles, interior design, illustration,
advertising, digital games, fashion, fine art, photography,
visual communication and much more.

I am off to see this years graduate show at my previous
university tonight.
Congratulations to all of the new graduates!

The Printed Length
This was a continuation of the ‘Birds’ project, we worked alongside each other to create a three colour screen printed length to hang in the entrance of the college. This was a fantastic project and I learnt a lot about how to create a repeating unit for screen printing, this was also the largest scale in which I had worked. What a fantastic project!
